Inna Vavilova, managing partner of "Prime Advice", told "Delovoy Peterburg" about trends and challenges in the legal business in the coming year:

In 2018, the growth of so-called conflict practices related to bankruptcy and debt restructuring, protection of business from tax and criminal prosecution will continue. It seems to me that legal retail will grow, that is, the service of numerous small customers, individuals, including sole traders, through the introduction of technologies, when using platforms and programs you can serve cheap on standard issues, but a lot of customers and earn money at the expense. These segments are invested not only by such major market players as Sberbank, but also by small startups.

Inna Vavilova also noted that competition is increasing and a new approach to the provision of services is being formed. As for the legislative initiatives in the field of transactions and bankruptcy, everything is changing, and without independent courts this is no more than a good initiative. Businesses need an integrated approach to solving problems with an assessment of all risks. This requires competence not only in law but also in economics and technology. On the other hand, the legal community, despite the impact of the economy and politics, can influence the development of the industry with the conscious consolidation and development of common approaches. However, as Inna Vavilova correctly points out, our approach does not change:
