“Collector’s Choice”: Denis Khimilyaine and Sergey Limonov on Vladey Auction
On March 20, the online platform Vladey will host the "Collector's Choice" auction. The works for it were selected by two renowned St. Petersburg collectors, Denis Khimiline and Sergey Limonov, whose collections feature pieces by both young artists and established masters. Essentially, the project is not just an author-curated auction, but also a curated exhibition. ELLE Decoration asked Denis Khimilyaine and Sergey Limonov to share how the works for the auction were chosen and to offer some advice for those just starting to build their collections.
